Student assistant for a large scale ocean acidification experiment in Norway’s Raunefjord (KOSMOS 2015)

Where: Bergen, Norway.
As part of a team of student assistants I joined the Biological Oceanography research group of GEOMAR. In a large scale mesocosm experiment where we investigated the effects of ocean acidification on a ecosystem level.
In particular, I helped monitoring the mortality in herring larvae, the video based documentation of the zooplankton community and joined the diving team that maintained the experimental setup.
