Escaping the German winter to TA for a reef fishes class

Where: Bocas del Toro, Panama
Like in the previous years, the final year of my PhD in the Puebla lab started with a 2.5 week trip to Panama. Here we were teaching a Masters class in reef fish ecology and grounded ourselves by getting back into the water to visit the hamlets on site.
Teaching he class of the Three seas programm again was much fun, as we spent lots of time in the field doing transects, spawning experiments and behavioral observations.
