Setting out on a hamlet phenotyping mission
When: 11.03. - 25.03.2017
Where: La Parguera, Puerto Rico
Puerto rico was the second station of the 2018 phenotying tour of the puebla-lab. Oscar Puebla & I met with Owen McMillan at a research station at La Paguera on the southern coast of Puerto Rico.
There we spent two weeks and extending our sampling of hamlet phenotypes. We additionally did transects to establish some baseline in terms of hamlet densities and community. This later got published in the Journal of Fish Biology.
The research station at La Parguera was on serious lizzard land.
